Notes

1871 census, I think this is my Jane (but cannot prove it) living as a Visitor with Neil Leitch at 21 Abbotsford Place, Tradestoun, Glasgow, aged 45 (not quite right) and is a teacher born in Glasgow.

1881 census: she was visiting her brother James Robertson Sweet at 31 Scotia Street and was an annuitant

1901 census she was living with her housekeeper at 16 Manor Crescent, Inverkip, Renfrewshire. She was an annuitant and was born in Glasgow.

1911 census she was living at 12 manor Crescent and Barbara Sweet was visiting. A house with 4 rooms with one window or more
Jane sweet Head Female age 88 Single Private means born in Glasgow, Lanarkshire
Barbara Sweet Visitor Female age 67 Married born in Paisley, Renfrewshire
Janet Marshall Servant Female age 35 Single General servant (domestic) worker born in Cathcart, Renfrewshire

For her to live to 101 as an annuitant, she must have had a reasonable wealth so was George (her father) a particularly successful wine merchant?
