George's wife, Helen and their son James, were staying with her mother at 67 Westmorland Street.

Helen's death certificate in 1936 records that George was her first husband and that she later married Albert John Thomson, Ship Steward.
Eric Bloomquist, George's grandson in America, has been in touch to tell me that George was involved in the 2nd Boer War and that he also worked in public health administration for the City of Glasgow. They lived on Hollowglen Road, Springboig.
