James Sweet drowned in the River Cart: Accidental death near Cathcart Bridge

Mary Ann Graham was actually 44 when she died. Using the 1841 census to confirm this. Also interestingly she was christened Margaret Graham and I suspect took Mary Ann as her name was the same as James' previous wife.

James Sweet age 40 Cotton WLV?
Mary Ann Sweet age 35
Catherine Sweet age 15
Thomas Sweet age 8
Graeme Wallace Sweet age 5
Christina Sweet age 8

Mary Ann Graham is age 35 so birth date circa 1806. The headstone is wrong to out her age at death as 48, she would have been nearer to 44. This has enabled me to prove her parentage as Wallace Graham and Christina Forrest.
