Valuation roll
1875 There is somethiong strange here: the valuation roll shows William as tenant occupier of 269 Nuneaton Street VR102/228/126 note the 1871 census is 4 Hozer Street. But his daughter Mary was born at 269 Nuneaton Street in 1877 and son Thomas was also born here 1875. Interesting that he and Annie Wisdom were married at 293 Nuneaton Street in 1854.

1885 (not viewed): renting 295 Dalmarnock Road (note moved since 1881 census), it is here that his daughter Catherine died. VR 102/339/149.

He is recorded as unmarried but in fact his wife Grace died 6 months after they were married in Dec 1869. He is aged 20 and a shoemaker.
